Adam is a distinguished mechanical and biomedical engineer from Goma, DR Congo. He earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and has amassed a wealth of experience across diverse industries, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), product manufacturing, and food processing and packaging.

Notably, Adam is a prolific author with two scientific articles published in the top 10 journals of analytical chemistry and materials science in the United States. His entrepreneurial spirit complements his academic achievements, as he founded Bora Technology in Goma, DRC, at 23. Under his leadership, Bora Technology is spearheading the development of innovative solutions to address local challenges, such as automated handwashing stations, smart electricity meters, and water filtration systems. The company also provides engineering consulting services in civil and structural engineering analysis, mechanical and air conditioning, and electrical engineering.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Adam is the director and founder of the East African Multidisciplinary Research Center in Goma. He leads a team dedicated to tackling complex engineering problems through cutting-edge computational engineering solutions.

Adam’s commitment to advancing the field of biomedical engineering is evident in his current pursuit of a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering/Medicine at the University of Texas. His research specialization centers on developing micro and nano-fluidic technologies to enable the study of the intricate interface and communication between nerve cells and immune cells in cases of sepsis. Simultaneously, Adam is expanding his horizons by pursuing an MBA at the same institution.
